CarePrices.ai is built by Care Decisions Labs, a healthcare data company founded in 2025 with a singular mission: make healthcare pricing transparent and accessible to every American.
Since January 2021, hospitals have been required by CMS to publish their prices in machine-readable files. The problem? These files are massive, inconsistent, and nearly impossible for consumers to use. Many are gigabytes of raw JSON or CSV data.
We built the infrastructure to parse, normalize, and query this data at scale. The result is the most comprehensive hospital pricing database in the country, free for anyone to search.
